GGNet Jong
Brand identity, print and web design
Come as you are
GGNet is a large mental healthcare organization, operating mainly in the east of the Netherlands. In 2019, we developed GGNet’s main brand identity in cooperation with Day Creative. Besides working on various other projects based on that identity, we also recently finished a series of six sub-identities for so-called brand labels. These are aimed at specific target groups which require a more tailor-made way of communication.
One of example of such a label is GGNet Jong, which provides mental healthcare to quite a broad audience of children, teenagers, young adults and their parents. They also offer support in certain crisis situations within families — for instance when a parent suffers from serious mental healthcare problems.
As in each of the six labels, we took graphic elements and colors from GGNet’s main identity to create a style specific for GGNet Jong. Without ignoring the seriousness of the topic, we developed an identity that feels fresh, colorful and lively — thereby breathing a welcoming and optimistic atmosphere. In order to create visual unity, we connected the color palette with those of two partially overlapping labels. These two, Amarum and Scelta, are aimed at young people with either eating or personality disorders.
Playful graphic elements in a set of bright colors were combined with a diverse set of photography reflecting a broad diversity in age groups, backgrounds and topics. Besides that, the images each feature a certain sense of human connection, which is a very important element of GGNet’s overall philosophy. These branding elements were used as building blocks in a wide range of communication tools, such as a website and leaflets, business cards, posters and other collateral.
